Your account

Signing in is optional — the validator, the generator and the migration guide all work without an account, and always will. It exists so that things which belong to someone can: monitors that alert you, reports only you can see, and publishing under your own namespace.

We ask GitHub for no scopes at all — that still returns your username and numeric id, which is all we use. We cannot read your repositories, and we do not ask to.
